The month of November has seen the release of a couple big titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and Far Cry 4. All have SJW crap shoehorned into them and Far Cry 4, in particular, has obnoxious grrl power as a major theme. In the case of Far Cry 4, one of the game’s writers lets everyone who is against the destructive SJW movement know in advance that they probably weren’t going to like what they found in the game.
Sure enough, he wasn’t bluffing. A ballbusting character inconspicuously named Amita appears early in the game to annoy and condescend to the player.
With a warning that the game would likely contain some of this shit ahead of time, why would you buy this trash from a company that obviously doesn’t like you?
Before you read any further, I want to make it clear that I enjoy plenty of games (like Grand Theft Auto) and movies that take humorous jabs at or attempt to offer honest critiques of things I care about. I don’t go out of my way to “deconstruct” every piece of entertainment like a Maoist International Movement zombie or Feminist Frequency. I will avoid a movie or game, however, when the bigwigs involved make it a point to tell me they’ve shit in the punch bowl before I show up to the party.
One thing I absolutely won’t do is knowingly support a person like Kershner and his fellow travelers, who are doing their very best to take over the game industry so they can use it to spread their toxic propaganda. If you absolutely HAVE to have a major title chock full of SJW claptrap, might I suggest waiting until it’s cheaper than dirt on Steam or buying a used copy if you’re one of the unwashed plebs who still plays games on a console?
If you care about gamergate, these aren’t the people you want to be rewarding with your hard-earned lucre. They deserve to be unemployed hipster losers who sit around Starbucks all day pretending to write a fucking book about their boring lives.
That being said, you are completely free to do whatever you please but keep the words of this article and these smug, Backpfeifengesicht-istic faces in mind when you’re thinking about buying a game from BioWare and/or Ubisoft:
Are these people you want to be supporting in any way?
Personally, I will not buy any Bioware or Ubisoft products in the foreseeable future and I encourage you to boycott them as well. The only way developers are going to listen to gamergaters is if we start voting with our wallets and vociferously protesting their decisions to push SJW nonsense in their games. They have zero incentive to change their stripes if we keep throwing money at them.
So I ask you again, why buy games from people who despise you? Would you buy a car from a car salesman who insulted you? Would you give money to a panhandler who dirties up your expensive Valentino Couture suit? For me, the answer to both of these questions is a solid no. The car salesman won’t get the sale and I’d tell the panhandler to get a job, because he most likely has a negative attitude anyway.
In summary, if you want to have an effect on their bottom lines you’re going to have to say no or take other actions to minimize the amount of profit they earn. You can do what you like, but as far as I’m concerned the anti-GG, pro-SJW developers can take their games and shove ‘em.
