In a sane world, SJWs would be laughed out of every room. Serious adults would not give their illogical opinions any weight. Yet, they dominate the highest positions of power in American and the Western world. Our governments are run by them, the media is stocked with them, policies are designed with basic principles that are based on their viewpoints, and they write and pass laws.
The President of the United States bemoans the
fact myth that women are paid less than men during his State Of The Union address. An actress receives a standing ovation during the Oscars when she demands that women finally be treated equally when in reality females are treated unequally in that they receive beneficial privilege.
We witness absolute insanity on a daily basis: extolled signs of progress are female Navy SEALs, men who had their genitals mutilated being able to use women’s bathrooms, 10 year olds being allowed to choose their gender from a long list that includes everything from “gender fluid” to “genderqueer”, false rape accusations being held up as proof of the existence of “rape culture”, groups comprised of mostly white men being deemed as an injustice by simply existing.
Movies and shows routinely depict women as equal warriors and superior thinkers, commercials constantly bombard audiences with scenes of bumbling white male idiots being set straight by a minority and/or his wife. The patently absurd is deemed undeniable and unchallengeable. Undisputed facts are labeled as hate speech while obvious falsehoods are spoken confidently as if irrefutable.
Anita Sarkeesian lecturing developers is a sad state of affairs which is very telling as to the depths our society has descended to. It’s an indictment of our times that a woman such as her is even taken seriously at all.
SJWs Want To Control Every Aspect Of Gaming As Well
Gaming was an escape from the insanity of everyday life. While most games already included characters that represented the equal women fantasy, it wasn’t quite a wholly owned subsidiary of the social justice propaganda wing. But, SJWs will not allow dissenting viewpoints—they have to control the message and further the narrative everywhere feasibly possible. Those who cannot abide dissention have descended on our domain.
They want speech codes enforced during online interactions, all games to resemble every other propaganda outlet they control by strictly furthering the (false) narrative without exception while reviewers and journalists launch coordinated attacks in conjunction with their SJW overlords against any games that do not sufficiently please them.
Feminists demand that virtual women embody their fantasy vision and not in any way resemble reality. What they might call “negative stereotypes” or “socially constructed myths” are simply realities they would rather refuse to believe nor allow to be spoken by others. For all of Anita’s talk of making women character’s combat noises more real, the last thing she wants is a realistic depiction of women participating in combat.
They want gamers to have to endure the absurdity of a 120-pound women outfitted in armor and swinging a sword while slaying men with ease. They would rather see fat and ugly virtual women wearing burqas than sexy women in revealing clothes.
Certain games that attempt to strike a serious tone and ground the player in a believable environment would not be exempt from their mandates. I can more easily immerse myself into a game world with dragons than one in which women slay dragons. Those, like me, who prefer believable female characters in their games will be classified as “sexists” who are not even worthy of being allowed to offer such a “backward” and “hateful” opinion on a game.
SJW influence will stifle creativity, limit options, and create an environment of fear and distrust. All aspects of a game will be judged on its social justice quality first and foremost. Dissention in the ranks will be ruthlessly attacked under a strict no tolerance policy. Game creators will not be free to create the games they desire but will instead be subservient to fanatical overlords who use fear to ensure compliance. They will ruin gaming.
Developers Do Not Have To Become Servants Of Fanatical Overlords
An essential step to implement their agenda will be to successfully terrify developers into compliance. Developers are under immense pressure to fall in line with the modern (insane) narrative that permeates virtually every segment of modern culture.
There is also the obligatory feeling of self-righteousness that accompanies acceptance into social justice circles which snares the weak.
There are many problems that gamers wish certain developers would address but the cancer that has infected gaming will take precedent and supersede legitimate complaints. Developers would be less keen on fixing real issues when their first and last thought when designing games becomes “Will this please SJWs?”.
But, developers have a choice: submit and obey or resist and defy. They can choose to design their products to please SJWs and their dominated media or real gamers. Staying on the fence by including characters demanded by SJWs while also trying to keep their games somewhat believable will only delay the inevitable.
Gaming can be different in that it is free of the consequences brought about by social justice lunacy. Gaming can be seen by all as something that doesn’t succumb to SJW demands. It can stand proud as a shining beacon of freedom that refuses to grovel at their feet. It can be done and there is a large segment of people who are desperately awaiting a sign of unwavering resistance. We can set the precedent but saving gaming will only be possible if developers do not tremble at the thought of an SJW hate attack.
Developers who buck the trend of submitting to SJWs will endear themselves to a large segment of paying customers who will faithfully support them. They should not have to worry about including sufficient numbers of women of color, women of no color, or any characters to satisfy fanatics.
We can utterly annihilate SJWs on the battlefield of ideas, but if developers still cower before the enemies of truth and logic our victories will not be enough to save gaming from dying a slow death.
